Artist's Comments
Part of a class project. The real project was assembling the scene- meant to be a laboratory/study from the late Victorian era.
I can count on one hand the number of items in the scene less than 80 years old. The majority of items are 100-150+ years old. The journals in this photograph were hand-written in the mid 1800's. The ink and paperweight are two of the new items- things I didn't think about using until I had already finished setting up the scene and wandered the house looking for some final details. |
